Chord Studio is the independent practice of Brent Francese, an architectural designer working across space, graphic design, and brand systems. My work focuses on the relationship between built form and visual identity.

I am leading creative direction at Carpenter Development in Raleigh, North Carolina where I work on the design and direction of mixed-use and residential projects. The work focuses on urban form, placemaking, interior finishes and the integration of architecture, identity, and community.

Additionally, I work with Elm Partners on creating brand strategy for their commercial clients in hospitality, retail and beyond. A list of those clients can be found here.

I am based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
